Wow, I think this spot has officially converted me to a momo fan. The jhol momos are incredible - very flavorful and filling. I try to stop by any time I'm in the area even if it means I'm saving my momos for later. The spot is very casual, typical Jackson Height establishment with friendly service. Can't wait to go back for more!

There's an annual Momo Crawl in Jackson Heights that celebrates the Tibetan and Nepalese dumpling, called "the momo," and this spot has been the winner of the event 5 times! Nepali Bhanchha Ghar is famous for their jhol momo, which comes in either beef or chicken filling. Jhol momo consists of dumplings immersed in a spicy and aromatic sesame and tomato broth. They're juicy, flavorful, and warm - $9 for a platter of 8 momo. The skin on the momo are on the thinner side and there's a lot of filling. I love my momo saucy and this one is very sauced up. If you're looking for a true taste of Nepal and some of the best momo in Queens, Nepali Bhanchha Ghar is highly recommended.

Tried the famous jhol momos in veg, chicken and beef. Each amazing and flavorful and halal. $30 for all! Amazing eats. Staff is more local but adds to the experience.

This was a really delicious meal. The wai wai sadeko is kind of like bhelpuri made with instant noodles - spicy and fresh from the raw vegetables and lime juice. This was a really nice snack. I also had veg samay baji, which is a thali served with toasted poha instead of rice or roti. I enjoyed all the dishes - spice from the chickpea and potato curry, tanginess from the achaars, slight bitterness from what I think was karela, and crunch from bhatmas sadeko (soybean salad). For a drink, I had a slightly sweet plain lassi - the menu makes it seem like a salty lassi, but maybe you have to specify. In hindsight, getting two dishes was far too much food for just one person, and the wai wai sadeko was pretty much the same flavor profile as the bhatmas sadeko. I also might prefer to have a regular thali next time for more textural variety with rice/roti instead of the crunchy poha. Everything came to $28 after tax and tip, which is decent for so much food.

The winner of the 2024 12th annual momo crawl (24 places participated). How fun it was to be in the chanting crowd heading to the establishment to inform them of their victory! We decided to stop in and get some momos and just relax. The momos are definitely one of the best we had tried. Moist, flavorful and traditional. The place was full and abuzz with excitement, yet still catered to guests coming in for a meal. The staff was friendly, attentive and down to earth. I look forward to visiting again.

I can see why they won the Momo Crawl for many years. I do agree so far they have the best momo I've tried. We got the jhol goat momo and it was amazing. The staffs are super friendly and seem like you always get a complimentary sel roti as an appetizer if you dine in. We were just waiting inside for our take out food and one of the sweet lady (she might be the owner?) even came over and gave us a sel roti to try. They have such an extensive menu, I can't wait to come back and try more items.

Still as great as ever!! Service is slow as noted below so don't be deterred. Skip the chili paneer and go straight for the momos. Beef jhol momos have the best curry.

For a weekend afternoon, the place still had a decent amount of tables left. Came by for of course the momos. It was hot, but we had to try the goat jhol momos. We also ordered a sel roti after seeing it on a video. The momos were so good. You can tell they take their time to prepare it because of the fold and how long you have to wait for them. They're stuffed to the brim. The goat wasn't as gamy as I thought it would be. The broth is a little bit spicy but warming. Sel roti was a sweet donut almost. The chutney/salsa that came with it made it a perfect sweet and savory dish. The restaurant is such a bargain. My friend and I felt full only after 4 momos each and the sel roti. Perfect place for a satisfying meal without breaking the bank.

The most amazing momo in town!! This is authentic and tastes like how it should. I've been here with my Nepali friend and she's agreed they're the best in town. The jhol momo was out of this world, the best thing to warm the soul on a cold/rainy day. It had a ton of flavor and the stuffing was plentiful. One order is probably more than enough for one person and the prices are very reasonable. The ambiance is very hole in the wall, but hey! That's where you get the best food! Service - friendly, clearly family run so might be a little slow
